Fiscal Responsibility - No Bailouts!

It’s time for Congress to wake up and smell the truth that all of the money that flows from our hard-earned wallets and paychecks to the U.S. Treasury belongs to We The People and should be used only for purposes specified in the Constitution.

The top priorities for our tax dollars should always be National Security and Defense (some would say are one and the same) and Intelligence, which is a key component for the first two.

Everything else that the Congress can Constitutionally spend our money on is articulated clearly in the Constitution, and the 10th Amendment clarifies that if the Constitution does not specifically authorize the Congress to do it, nor prohibit's the authority resting with the individual States or to the people, that all items not specified in the Constitution are reserved for the States, or to We The People.

We heard people of seemingly different political persuasions talk about how this corporation was “too big to fail” and that the repercussions of it’s failure would be catastrophic…well that’s just the way the cookie crumbles in my book. No One is “too big to fail”. In a Free Market, Capitalist economy, you are free as an individual, or a corporation, to enjoy they consequences of your decisions (as in life) and if you make good business decisions, you should reap good profits, but if you make bad business decisions, you get to reap those rewards as well.

I believe that We The People know how to spend our own money…better than the government!
